Wave Power
Wave power generating units require extremely reliable and robust electronic cooling systems able to cope in extreme conditions for long periods without maintenance TES are involved at all stages from compact prototype design to finished working systems with a special emphasis on minimising the operating power requirement thereby maximising delivered power.
Wind Power
Compact, energy efficient cooling systems have been designed to be integrated into new wind farms or as retrofit to existing wind farm systems where power line disruptions can cause mechanical damage to the generator.
Marine – ship’s Drives
An increasing number of new build vessels both commercial and military are utilising electric motor propulsion drives for fuel efficiency, reliability and manoeuvrability. As power converters are generally of very high power and situated well below deck level in high humidity and elevated temperatures, water cooling is a very efficient method of rejecting the heat. TES design systems and associated manifolds to all relevant marine standards which can be built to fit awkward spaces, be open frame mounted or built within an enclosure to match the overall converter suite.
